The impossible just delays a little more... I also have stand-alone monitor, LCD, 17", 1280x1024. But it really does not mean these drivers dont end up in Linux! After switching to this older driver, videos are appearing perfect "smooth" and crisp. (Hence the green colour for this entry.)
