How many people have to complain or have this problem before anyone steps up -- anyone meaning Gigabyte. The rest will be IDE drives from a controller card. I tried adding the drivers on a USB with a genuine copy of windows 7 on it. I had no problems whatsoever with that install then, so I'm not 100% sure if it was the AHCI mode not being set or the FC8 software.
